Canon PowerShot A550 and A460 Digital Cameras

Canon announced two new digital cameras, under its PowerShot brand, which looks almost the same — PowerShot A550 and PowerShot A460 models. I said both cameras look the same because almost the whole specs are similar. They feature a 4x optical zoom lens, a 2-inch colors LCD display, a SD/MMC/SDHC card slot, and a replaceable standard AA batteries. And not just the specs, both digicams would also hit the market in February.

Now let’s check out the differences. Canon PowerShot A460, priced at $150, has a 5 megapixel CCD sensor; while the PowerShot A550 digital camera sports a 7.1 megapixel CCD sensor and a video recording capability at 30fps. The price is $50 higher, $200.
